Killem Pest always gives preference to bee relocation as opposed to extermination. We actively promote and encourage clients to consider relocating the bees.
Extermination
Note that Killem Pest only rarely uses extermination procedures when dealing with bees, as we prefer to relocate and rescue the bees. Ultimately, clients decide how they want bees to be handled. We always make sure to encourage clients to consider bee relocation. Other scenarios in which extermination may be applied is when the bee hive is inaccessible.
Blocking Entry Points

- Ensure all your outside bins have good tight fitted lids. Ensure you keep bins away from doors and windows so bees are not attracted to the contents.
- Underused appliances or lawn equipment found in gardens and yards can attract honey bees since they provide sufficient shelter for a hive to develop.
