Treatment Terms & Conditions
Treatment Methods*:
*Please note that this is a non-exhaustive list of treatments methods that we offer. Treatment methods and pests are outlined generally – some, all or none may be applicable to your pest management program. Please refer to your quotation for the pest, service type, frequency, and location of your tailored pest management program.
Subterranean Termites
Killem will inspect all accessible common areas within the building structure (excluding all greenery). Treatment will be chargeable for any detected infestation.
In the event the property is under soil warranty, Killem will inspect all accessible common areas within the building structure (including all greenery). Any termite reinfestation will be treated using the baiting method. The baiting method is a property protection process that provides continuous defence against termite infestations through an ongoing maintenance service.
Rodents (Rats and Mice)
Killem will inspect all accessible areas within the premises for any signs of infestation. Baiting stations and/or traps will be installed (if required) and monitored regularly. Fresh baits will be replenished as and when required. Our rodenticides are designed to attract rodents only (and not other mammals).
For F&B Only: Killem will also inspect all accessible areas that are at the front and back of the kitchen and ceiling area within the premises for any signs of infestation. Baiting stations or traps will be installed (if required) and monitored regularly. Fresh baits will be replenished as and when required.
Cockroaches
Killem will inspect all accessible areas within the premises for any signs of infestation. All potential breeding areas will be sprayed with insecticidal chemicals to create a coat of residue to prevent infestation. Gelling will be carried out if necessary.
For F&B Only: Killem will also inspect all accessible areas that are at the front and back of the kitchen and ceiling area within the premises for any signs of infestation. Spraying treatment will be carried out at the cracks and crevices, skirting and the floor trap areas. Gelling treatment, if necessary, will be at all potential breeding area (i.e. under the sink, adjoining and behind equipment, under the refrigerator, oven, vending machine, along top of and inside cabinet including the display unit).
Common Ants
Killem shall spray insecticidal chemicals to internal and external locations likely to be infested. Gelling will be carried out if necessary.
For F&B Only: Killem shall spray insecticidal chemicals to the skirting, the floor trap areas and locations likely to be infested for each treatment or whenever necessary. Gelling treatment, if necessary, will be carried out wherever ant trails are found or in potential foraging areas.
Mosquitoes
There are several treatment methods available for mosquito control that can be used either individually, or combined. Please refer to your quotation for more information.
Larviciding is carried out to places where there is stagnant water or potential breeding areas. This treatment is provided to eradicate larvae and prevent mosquitoes from breeding.
Thermal Fogging is usually used outdoors (rarely indoors) to produce clouds of white smoke; it is used to control mosquitoes and other flying pests. The white smoke is made by heating a mixture of oil and insecticide. The droplets of insecticide that are forced out of the machine are large and they quickly fall to the ground. As they fall through the air the droplets contact and kill insects that may be resting on plants, trees, or the walls of buildings.
Search & destroy all mosquitoes breeding found during the inspection and remove or treat with insecticide all potential breeding habitats.
Misting covers a large surface area using a highly efficient motor blower with strong pressure which creates a barrier of protection, long residual effect, rapid knockdown effect. It is odourless and has low acute mammalian toxicity. It is mixture of chemical and water, and the droplets are consistent.
Cold Fogging is used outdoors to control adult mosquitoes. It is mixture of water and chemical using a fogger. The droplets are small and this treatment does not produce the clouds of white smoke. Cold Fogging is safer to people and pets.
Flies
Killem will inspect all accessible areas within the premises for infestation. Any infestation detected will be treated with the appropriate insecticidal chemicals.
Miscellaneous Item(s):
- Purchase of fly catcher (with installation) : S$250/- per unit, before GST.
- Purchase of fly catcher (without installation) : S$180/- per unit, before GST.
- Purchase of fly catcher sticker : S$70/- per box (10 pcs per box).
Lizard
Glue stickerboards will be placed strategically but out of sight in places where lizards are known to gather.
Disinfection
We carry out a 2-step disinfection treatment comprising:
- Surface Wipe Down– using disposable towels soaked in disinfectant to wipe down frequently touched areas for each designated area such as pantry and toilets.
- Misting treatment– Misting equipment containing disinfectant will be used to treat all surfaces of the treated site (approved by client).
All our disinfectants are approved by the NEA and comply with EPA standards
In preparation for the disinfection treatment, we require:
- Food, cutlery, crockery, paper products and artwork made of paper to be removed.
- Electric appliances can be covered (if required) or left exposed as the mists are too fine to cause harm to them.
- The premises to be vacant. If you wish to follow our Pest Management Professional it is your responsibility to ensure you are wearing appropriate PPE.
- After the premises are disinfected, the area should be left vacant for at least 1 hour to allow the disinfectant to air dry.
